Aishling Muller works with organisations and communities to develop participatory artistic projects, cultural exchanges and public programmes. Through dialogue, shared making and collaborative storytelling, projects connect people, place and ideas, with the process and public outcomes shaped by the particular community and context.
Her work in this area brings together photography, moving image, participation, event development, artist support and public engagement, adapting to the needs of particular communities, organisations and contexts.
Projects are strongest where there is a clear cultural or artistic purpose, good production support and space for genuine dialogue, collaboration and exchange.
Available for selected cultural programmes, guest facilitation, public conversations and interdisciplinary collaborations where there is strong artistic alignment and appropriate organisational support.
Community Practice
Art for Social Change Collective
Aishling’s involvement includes co-curating exhibitions with the Art for Social Change Collective. Her work was presented in the collective’s Sink or Swim exhibition at the Projection Room, Paignton, in 2025.
Greek Community Photography Project
2011–2012 · Participatory photography and public exhibition
Photographed in December 2011 in Vassaras, rural Greece, this participatory project culminated in the Vassarai site responsive exhibition in 2012.
Murmuration
2023-2024 · Cross Cultural Exchange Project · Exhibition
Co-curated by Aishling Muller as part of the Craftlink Ireland–Finland creative exchange, Murmuration explored cultural heritage, storytelling and collaborative making. The exhibition was presented at Esker Arts, Tullamore, in 2024.

Co-Motion Youth Film Festival

Aishling assisted with the coordination of Co-Motion Youth Film Festival, supporting filmmaking workshops, programme organisation and event delivery for young filmmakers.
First Wednesdays
2013–2014 · Community arts and storytelling events
Aishling organised and hosted First Wednesdays, a monthly community arts event in Oldcastle, County Meath, providing a platform for writers, poets and storytellers.
